The Hang Seng Index now rose 498 points, or 2% to 25,711; with market turnover of 24.24b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose 187 points, or 2.2% to 8,573; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 124 points, or 2.8% to 4,593.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$2.6, or 2.4% to HK$110.1, with turnover of HK$909.46m; HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) rose HK$3.1, or 1.9% to HK$166.6, with turnover of HK$385.43m; TENCENT (00700) rose HK$9.8, or 2.3% to HK$442.8, with turnover of HK$1.15b. (ed)
