HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 27,356

[ET Net News Agency, 2 October 2025] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 500 points to 27,356. The Hang Seng Index now rose 500 points, or 1.9% to
27,356; with market turnover of 134.13b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
205 points, or 2.2% to 9,761; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 246 points, or 3.8% to
6,712.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$7.9, or 4.5% to HK$184.9, with turnover of HK$10.52b; SMIC
(00981) rose HK$9.2, or 11.6% to HK$88.75, with turnover of HK$3.25b; TENCENT (00700) rose
HK$19, or 2.9% to HK$682, with turnover of HK$6.37b. (ed)
