HSI extends its rise to 800+ pts and is now at 23,669

[ET Net News Agency, 12 May 2025] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than 800
points, or 801 points to 23,668. The Hang Seng Index now rose 801 points, or 3.5% to
23,668; with market turnover of 228.62b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
290 points, or 3.5% to 8,598; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 316 points, or 6.1% to
5,496.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$8.1, or 6.6% to HK$131.7, with turnover of HK$13.12b; TENCENT
(00700) rose HK$25.4, or 5.1% to HK$520, with turnover of HK$11.39b; HSBC HOLDINGS (00005)
rose HK$3.05, or 3.5% to HK$90.55, with turnover of HK$1.94b. (ed)
