There were 834 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.55 billion and HK$3.76 billion, or 14.13% and 9.56% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 52.86% and 39.5% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$2.21 billion and HK$1.55 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.62% and 3.96% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 43.91% and 16.17% of respective stock's turnover.
