[ET Net News Agency, 29 July 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$142.41
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$17.62 billion, or 12.38% of the market's
turnover. There were 687 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XIAOMI-W (01810)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.76 billion and HK$1.17 billion, or
9.98% and 6.62% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
41.24% and 13.89% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1.02 billion and HK$448.66
million of short sales, accounting for 5.81% and 2.55% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 24.83% and 11.37% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.24, or 0.92%, to HK$25.82. XIAOMI-W ended down HK$2.15, or
3.79%, to HK$54.65. HSCEI ETF fell HK$1.14, or 1.21% to HK$92.8. CSOP HS TECH declined by
HK$0.105, or 1.88%, to HK$5.465.
