[ET Net News Agency, 14 August 2026]  Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$135.72 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$16.16 billion, or 11.91% of the market's turnover. There were 808 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HUA HONG GRACE (01347) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.41 billion and HK$1.36 billion, or 8.72% and 8.4% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 21.61% and 19.26% of respective stock's turnover.
  TENCENT (00700) and LENOVO GROUP (00992) registered HK$711.24 million and HK$685.08 million of short sales, accounting for 4.4% and 4.24% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 9.54% and 10.82% of respective stock's turnover.
  TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.22, or 0.85%, to HK$25.66. HUA HONG GRACE ended down HK$18.1, or 12.3%, to HK$129.1. TENCENT rose HK$2.4, or 0.54% to HK$443.4. LENOVO GROUP declined by HK$0.58, or 1.66%, to HK$34.32.
