[ET Net News Agency, 18 September 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 119 points higher today at 24,723. It reached a high of 24,862, up 258 points, and a low of 24,703, up 99 points. The Hang Seng Index closed up 146 points, or 0.6%, at 24,750.
Southbound funds recorded a net inflow of HK$1.19b for the full day, decreased by 64.5%. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were BIDU-W (09888), Z.AI (02513) and YOFC (06869) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were TRACKER FUND (02800), BABA-W (09988) and XIAOMI-W (01810) in that order.
Mainboard turnover increased by 43.6% to nearly HK$266.51b. Among this, Stock Connect turnover exceeded HK$103.2b, accounting for 38.7% of the total turnover.
BIDU-W dropped 0.2% to HK$87.2, with a net Southbound buy of HK$4.26b. Z.AI rose 5.4% to HK$780, with a net Southbound buy of HK$854m. YOFC dropped 0.7% to HK$183.1, with a net Southbound buy of HK$564m.
