[ET Net News Agency, 22 September 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 128 points higher today at 25,170. It reached a high of 25,254, up 211 points, and a low of 25,043, flat. The Hang Seng Index closed up 45 points, or 0.2%, at 25,087.
Southbound funds recorded a net inflow of HK$12.69b for the full day, increased by 211.5%. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were TRACKER FUND (02800), Z.AI (02513) and BABA-W (09988) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were SMIC (00981), YOFC (06869) and TENCENT (00700) in that order.
Mainboard turnover increased by 22.9% to nearly HK$249.21b. Among this, Stock Connect turnover exceeded HK$110.8b, accounting for 44.5% of the total turnover.
