[ET Net News Agency, 30 April 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$112.75
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$14.92 billion, or 13.23% of the market's
turnover. There were 664 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.71 billion and HK$1.53
billion, or 11.43% and 10.27% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 38.46% and 27.03% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$1.26 billion and HK$892.91 million
of short sales, accounting for 8.42% and 5.99% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 17.01% and 23.33% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.054, or 1.1%, to HK$4.974. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.08, or
0.36%, to HK$22.22. HSCEI ETF fell HK$0.04, or 0.05% to HK$82.58. MEITUAN-W declined by
HK$1.3, or 0.98%, to HK$130.8.
