[ET Net News Agency, 30 April 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$201.55
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$27.98 billion, or 13.88% of the market's
turnover. There were 689 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND (02800)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.49 billion and HK$2.25 billion, or
8.88% and 8.04% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
21.88% and 23.29% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$2.14 billion and HK$1.54 billion
of short sales, accounting for 7.66% and 5.49% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 36.92% and 12.94% of respective stock's
turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed up HK$0.42, or 0.51%, to HK$83.04. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.12, or
0.54%, to HK$22.26. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.068, or 1.38% to HK$4.988. XIAOMI-W jumped
HK$2.5, or 5.27%, to HK$49.95.
