[ET Net News Agency, 20 June 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$92.99
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$13.01 billion, or 13.99% of the market's
turnover. There were 669 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$994.91 million and HK$876.24
million, or 7.65% and 6.74% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 30.43% and 38.32% of respective stock's turnover.
POP MART (09992) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$581.45 million and HK$490.32 million
of short sales, accounting for 4.47% and 3.77% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 11.27% and 13.88% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.28, or 1.18%, to HK$23.92. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.043,
or 0.86%, to HK$5.035. POP MART fell HK$13, or 5.23% to HK$235.6. TENCENT jumped HK$3.5,
or 0.7%, to HK$501.5.
