billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$31.41 billion, or 15.81% of the market's
turnover. There were 704 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.77 billion and HK$1.88
billion, or 12.01% and 5.98% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 65.19% and 20.91% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.58 billion and HK$1.07 billion of
short sales, accounting for 5.03% and 3.4% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 20.79% and 14.98% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.06, or 1.19%, to HK$5.09. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.18, or
0.75%, to HK$24.1. MEITUAN-W rose HK$2.8, or 2.18% to HK$131.4. TENCENT declined by
HK$1.5, or 0.3%, to HK$504.
