[ET Net News Agency, 27 June 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$162.43
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$15.66 billion, or 9.64% of the market's
turnover. There were 665 short-selling stocks. XIAOMI-W (01810) and TRACKER FUND (02800)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.14 billion and HK$1.14 billion, or
13.65% and 7.26% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
10.3% and 13.79% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$505.62 million and HK$499.85
million of short sales, accounting for 3.23% and 3.19% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 11.71% and 20.47% of respective stock's
turnover.
XIAOMI-W closed up HK$2.5, or 4.39%, to HK$59.4. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.02, or
0.08%, to HK$24.78. BABA-W rose HK$0.3, or 0.27% to HK$112.5. CSOP HS TECH jumped HK$0.01,
or 0.19%, to HK$5.265.
