[ET Net News Agency, 29 July 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$267.01
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$36.05 billion, or 13.5% of the market's
turnover. There were 720 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XIAOMI-W (01810)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.32 billion and HK$2.21 billion, or
9.22% and 6.13% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
37.32% and 16.41% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$1.58 billion and HK$1.51
billion of short sales, accounting for 4.38% and 4.18% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 18.57% and 19.66% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.04, or 0.15%, to HK$26.02. XIAOMI-W ended down HK$1.5, or
2.64%, to HK$55.3. CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.03, or 0.54% to HK$5.54. HSCEI ETF declined by
HK$0.24, or 0.26%, to HK$93.7.
