[ET Net News Agency, 30 July 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$148.22
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$20.35 billion, or 13.73% of the market's
turnover. There were 693 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.13 billion and HK$2.02
billion, or 10.44% and 9.94% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 40.05% and 25.53% of respective stock's turnover.
LI AUTO-W (02015) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$1.21 billion and HK$768.37 million of
short sales, accounting for 5.94% and 3.78% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 31.03% and 15.75% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.07, or 1.26%, to HK$5.47. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.08,
or 0.31%, to HK$25.94. LI AUTO-W fell HK$12.6, or 10.51% to HK$107.3. BABA-W declined by
HK$1.6, or 1.33%, to HK$119.1.
