[ET Net News Agency, 30 July 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$319.65
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$45.25 billion, or 14.16% of the market's
turnover. There were 730 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.43 billion and HK$2.76
billion, or 9.79% and 6.11% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 40.41% and 19.01% of respective stock's turnover.
LI AUTO-W (02015) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$2.47 billion and HK$1.83 billion of
short sales, accounting for 5.45% and 4.04% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 33.87% and 17.46% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.145, or 2.62%, to HK$5.395. TRACKER FUND ended down
HK$0.36, or 1.38%, to HK$25.66. LI AUTO-W fell HK$15.4, or 12.84% to HK$104.5. BABA-W
declined by HK$3.6, or 2.98%, to HK$117.1.
