[ET Net News Agency, 5 August 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$112.35
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$15.08 billion, or 13.43% of the market's
turnover. There were 688 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and LI AUTO-W (02015)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$936.32 million and HK$591.39 million,
or 6.21% and 3.92% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 12.48% and 35.49% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$578.94 million and HK$500.45
million of short sales, accounting for 3.84% and 3.32% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 15.85% and 23.87% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.08, or 0.32%, to HK$25.28. LI AUTO-W ended up HK$2.9, or
2.87%, to HK$104.1. TENCENT rose HK$2.5, or 0.45% to HK$552.5. CSOP HS TECH jumped
HK$0.03, or 0.56%, to HK$5.4.
