HK$290.54 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$51.41 billion, or 17.69% of the
market's turnover. There were 777 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$7.85 billion and HK$5.53
billion, or 15.26% and 10.76% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 45.35% and 41.6% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$4.47 billion and HK$2.66 billion of
short sales, accounting for 8.7% and 5.17% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 45.85% and 16.15% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.24, or 0.88%, to HK$26.96. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.03, or 0.49%, to HK$6.145. HSCEI ETF fell HK$1.44, or 1.48% to HK$95.76. BABA-W
jumped HK$0.1, or 0.06%, to HK$159.2.
