[ET Net News Agency, 3 November 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$132.1 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$21.2 billion, or 16.05% of the
market's turnover. There were 713 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.37 billion and HK$1.82
billion, or 11.16% and 8.59% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 29.37% and 38.26% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$1.79 billion and HK$970.89
million of short sales, accounting for 8.42% and 4.58% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 57.24% and 17.64% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.12, or 0.46%, to HK$26.18. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.64, or
0.68%, to HK$94.32. CSOP HS TECH fell HK$0.02, or 0.34% to HK$5.785. XIAOMI-W jumped
HK$1.52, or 3.52%, to HK$44.72.
