[ET Net News Agency, 5 November 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$238.82 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$37.7 billion, or 15.79% of the
market's turnover. There were 771 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and BABA-W
(09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.34 billion and HK$2.29
billion, or 6.2% and 6.07% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 31.37% and 15.56% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$1.9 billion and HK$1.67 billion
of short sales, accounting for 5.03% and 4.42% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 13.64% and 10.54% of respective stock's
turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.035, or 0.61%, to HK$5.67. BABA-W ended down HK$0.5, or
0.31%, to HK$158.5. TRACKER FUND 0flat to HK$26.04. HSCEI ETF declined by HK$0.04, or
0.04%, to HK$93.58.
