[ET Net News Agency, 10 November 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$214.79 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$31.11 billion, or 14.49% of the
market's turnover. There were 752 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT
(00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.08 billion and HK$1.77
billion, or 6.68% and 5.7% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 23.52% and 18.9% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and POP MART (09992) registered HK$1.68 billion and HK$869.24 million of
short sales, accounting for 5.38% and 2.79% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 17.9% and 15.69% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.46, or 1.75%, to HK$26.8. TENCENT ended up HK$15.5, or
2.44%, to HK$649.5. BABA-W rose HK$3.3, or 2.06% to HK$163.4. POP MART jumped HK$16.6, or
8.11%, to HK$221.4.
