[ET Net News Agency, 11 November 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$118.31 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$15.54 billion, or 13.14% of the
market's turnover. There were 710 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W
(09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.64 billion and HK$1.24
billion, or 10.55% and 8% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 20.54% and 17.52% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$824.02 million and HK$780.29 million
of short sales, accounting for 5.3% and 5.02% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 17.77% and 14.72% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.04, or 0.15%, to HK$26.76. BABA-W ended down HK$3.8, or
2.33%, to HK$159.6. TENCENT fell HK$5.5, or 0.85% to HK$644. HSCEI ETF declined by
HK$0.18, or 0.19%, to HK$96.18.
