HK$210.23 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$30.22 billion, or 14.37% of the
market's turnover. There were 744 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W
(09988) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.26 billion and HK$2.03
billion, or 10.77% and 6.71% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 21.14% and 17.38% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and XPENG-W (09868) registered HK$1.37 billion and HK$1.11 billion of
short sales, accounting for 4.54% and 3.68% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 16.18% and 12.34% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.04, or 0.15%, to HK$26.84. BABA-W ended down HK$3, or 1.84%,
to HK$160.4. TENCENT rose HK$0.5, or 0.08% to HK$650. XPENG-W jumped HK$16.5, or 17.93%,
to HK$108.5.
