[ET Net News Agency, 2 February 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$347.89 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$54.15 billion, or 15.57% of the
market's turnover. There were 836 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS
TECH (03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$10.74 billion and HK$2.41
billion, or 19.83% and 4.45% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 43.58% and 30.52% of respective stock's turnover.
BYD COMPANY (01211) and XL2CSOPHSTECH (07226) registered HK$1.9 billion and HK$1.83
billion of short sales, accounting for 3.5% and 3.38% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 32% and 73.09% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.66, or 2.39%, to HK$26.94. CSOP HS TECH ended down
HK$0.205, or 3.66%, to HK$5.4. BYD COMPANY fell HK$6.75, or 6.91% to HK$91. XL2CSOPHSTECH
declined by HK$0.335, or 6.17%, to HK$5.095.
