[ET Net News Agency, 3 February 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$335.15 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$55.06 billion, or 16.43% of the
market's turnover. There were 828 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER
FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.41 billion and HK$4.6
billion, or 9.82% and 8.35% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 32.27% and 20.13% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$4.46 billion and HK$3.79 billion of
short sales, accounting for 8.1% and 6.88% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 30.03% and 10.08% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.055, or 1.02%, to HK$5.345. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.06,
or 0.22%, to HK$27. HSCEI ETF rose HK$0.82, or 0.88% to HK$93.68. TENCENT declined by
HK$17.5, or 2.92%, to HK$581.
