[ET Net News Agency, 24 March 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$303.07
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$53.61 billion, or 17.69% of the market's
turnover. There were 832 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.27 billion and HK$4.5 billion, or
9.84% and 8.39% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
17.38% and 28.8% of respective stock's turnover.
TENCENT (00700) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$3.42 billion and HK$2.49 billion
of short sales, accounting for 6.38% and 4.65% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 22.87% and 18.72% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.66, or 2.67%, to HK$25.36. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$1.88, or
2.21%, to HK$86.98. TENCENT rose HK$15.6, or 3.13% to HK$514. CSOP HS TECH jumped
HK$0.112, or 2.43%, to HK$4.718.
