Green @ Kwun Tong | Amazing 'Sea' Green Carnival

Description

September 19 is International Coastal Cleanup Day. We focus on protecting the ocean and cleaning beaches, sharing data and environmental protection knowledge on topics such as leaving no trace in mountains and seas, marine debris statistics, and the impacts of pollution. We also teach the public how to reduce waste generation and make full use of resources in daily life! Activities include distributing second-hand items as alternatives to purchasing, teaching citizens how to make jellyfish wind chimes from discarded plastics, workshops creating jewelry from beach sea glass, environmental education games, and information exhibitions—all aimed at teaching citizens how to practice waste reduction and spread recycling knowledge in daily life.

There will also be a 'Plastic-Free Ocean' exhibition booth to raise public awareness of ocean conservation. With such a rich program, don’t miss it!
