Description

The Innovation and Technology Carnival 2025, organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission, will be held at Hong Kong Science Park from 18 to 26 October! This year, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) will showcase several award-winning projects from the Geneva International Invention Expo, presenting our latest achievements in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics.

Highlights

• High-Performance Computer Workstation Two-Phase Immersion Cooling System (in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Department): Winner of the Geneva Special Grand Prix Award, this revolutionary technology significantly enhances computer performance and energy efficiency through immersion liquid cooling.

• Drone Goggle System (in collaboration with the Police Force): Enables drone operators to execute tasks using a first-person view, improving efficiency and safety.

• Spherical Robot for Inspection and Rescue Operations: Compact and agile, this robot can access narrow spaces where large equipment cannot enter, facilitating inspection and rescue missions.

• Automatic Cleaning Robot (in collaboration with the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department): Demonstrates how automation technology can enhance public hygiene levels.
