Tai Wai The Wai | HalloWai 'Spooky Garden'

Description
Halloween is approaching, and from 9 October to 9 November, MTR shopping mall Wai Fong is proudly presenting the 'HalloWai' themed event, cleverly blending Eastern ghost elements to create a festive celebration that transcends cultures! Legendary red and blue ghosts, river child, and other mythical creatures will be awakened, transforming Wai Fong's L2 Outdoor Garden and L4 Event Space into the 'Wai Fong Ha Gui Amusement Park', as if entering a boundary where reality and fantasy intersect, embarking on a journey of surprises and eerie fun.
From 24 October to 2 November, a Halloween-themed market will be set up in the mall, featuring 12 unique local brands offering Halloween-themed liquor, pet costumes, and cultural and creative gifts, inviting everyone to discover their one-of-a-kind Halloween and spend unforgettable moments with loved ones! In addition, a series of themed activities will be held on 25, 26, and 31 October, with Wai Fong presenting the city's first-ever 'Hundred Ghosts Calling Party'. Local otaku performance team Wing-Elytra will bring a blood-boiling stage performance, combining the 'calling' cheer actions from Japanese idol culture with ghost costumes to create a scorching creative party! In addition, the 'Night Parade of a Hundred Ghosts' will be held inside the mall, with numerous monsters making surprise appearances and interacting with you up close, inviting you to join this Halloween 'ghostly' party! During the event, the mall will also collaborate with dining merchants to launch festive themed dining options, not to be missed!
5 Spooky Photo Spots: Art Installations Where Reality and Fantasy Intersect
The gate to the Wai Fong Ha Gui Amusement Park quietly opens, with the red and blue ghosts standing silently, holding giant sticks and staring sharply, along with the little eyes flashing in the bushes, forming a protective line, silently watching every approaching traveler and ready to devour intruders.
In the hazy night, the last resident of Hundred Ghosts Village slowly emerges from the well. Cloaked in eerie green shadows and holding a fish-shaped object, he remains silent and does not greet anyone, only waiting silently, becoming the most enigmatic presence in the entire amusement park.
As night falls, the 'Lost Witch' with a lantern appears to guide people. However, if you follow her lightly, you will fall into confusion; if you refuse, you may be chased by her. Her true intention is to lead people into dangerous places, so please proceed with caution.
The abandoned oil paper umbrella, after absorbing the essence of the heavens and the earth, has transformed into a one-legged, one-eyed 'Umbrella Monster'. Although it looks pitiful, it is actually naughty and playful, often surprising you with a sudden long tongue and a startling scare.
Stepping into this dim corridor is like entering a boundary between reality and fantasy. With an unknown aura lingering in the air, please tread lightly and stay alert, as sleeping ghosts may be awakened by your footsteps.
Halloween Market: Create a Fun, Spooky Style with Your Furry Friends
From 24 October to 2 November, Wai Fong's L4 Event Space will host a Halloween-themed market, featuring 12 local brands offering a variety of Halloween-themed products, including bewitching cocktails, Halloween-exclusive liquors, trendy toys, and creative handmade goods. Continuing Wai Fong's 'human-pet integration' concept, this market specially features multiple pet brands, allowing you to enjoy the fun of dressing up with your furry friends. This October, you are welcome to join with your friends, family, and even pets, stepping into a surprising market to discover your own magical Halloween experience and spending a fun and memorable time together!
Consecutive Halloween Celebration Activities: The City's First 'Hundred Ghosts Calling Party'
As Halloween draws near, Wai Fong will launch a series of festive activities on 25, 26, and 31 October. Among them, on 25 and 31 October, the mall will present the city's first-ever 'Hundred Ghosts Calling Party', blending Western Halloween with Japanese 'calling' culture. The popular dance team 'Wing-Elytra' will deliver a dazzling fluorescent dance performance, with the audience transforming into a ghost cheer squad, interacting intensely with the performers through slogans and actions, igniting the atmosphere and creating a unique Halloween celebration! The Halloween weekend will also feature the 'Night Parade of a Hundred Ghosts' and the 'Trick-or-Treat Night Parade' party, with various monsters making surprise appearances and interacting with you up close, offering a festive experience filled with joy and surprises.
In addition, Wai Fong merchants have joined forces to introduce Halloween-themed dining options, crafting a unique feast for monster enthusiasts, immersing you in a holistic Halloween celebration that delights both your visual and taste senses!
