From the splendour and power of Walton's Belshazzar's Feast — with its huge orchestra, double brass bands, eight-part choir, and baritone solo — to the unaccompanied purity of Rautavaara's Missa a cappella, the Learners Chorus and the Learners Orchestra join forces for an evening exploring the full range of choral expression.
The programme also features Copland’s iconic Fanfare for the Common Man and Elgar’s grand orchestration of Bach’s Fantasia and Fugue in C minor.
Join conductor and bass-baritone Apollo Wong, the Learners Chorus, the Learners Orchestra and guest performers University Choir, CA, HKU for an evening of unforgettable music at the City Hall Concert Hall!
