When time begins, the world is one big playground. Gravity is not yet a law, whereas social norms and mores remain undefined. The sky is the limit only for those who are bold enough to fly!
In their upcoming Asia debut, Copenhagen Collective presents acrobatic poem The Genesis which premiered just last year. Through intricate group formations and orchestration, 12 world-class performers carve mesmerising human sculptures with their flawless physiques. Individual brilliance finds its ultimate strength in collective harmony, as female acrobats challenge conventions by serving as the base for gravity-defying male flyers in jaw-dropping feats. Physical prowess is beautifully set off by an original score of classical strings and piano which adds elegance and poetry to bodily action.
Audiences will bear witness to The Genesis at Parade Ground, a site steeped in history where life abounds – where bonds, balance, trust, interaction and friendship happen among people across the ages.
